For some reason, the name of this whiskey struck me as hilarious. I laughed out loud when I saw it in the LCBO listing. "Who would buy that?" Me, apparently, once I discovered it is a bottled-in-bond bourbon by Jim Beam.

Straightforward on the nose, with sweet corn and wood char. A bit of cinnamon candy and wet-stone earthiness.

Immediate sweetness greets the tongue. Candy corn. Confectioner's glaze. Tingling alcohol. Not much development to speak of. Some fruitiness mid-palate, mainly sour apple. Minimal oak involvement until the finish, which is of medium length with more cinnamon hearts and a touch of woodsmoke.

Despite its simplicity, this one is pretty enjoyable and finds good balance between the sweet palate and cinnamon-laced finish. For a few dollars more I'd rather have Knob Creek but this was worth trying anyway.

I got a bottle of this last year when it was around. Was pretty good for the price. I think it was like $15 for a BiB.

@casualtorture You're obviously not from around these parts ;). This stuff is $45 CAD in Ontario. For five dollars more you can get Knob Creek.
