Other forum issue

@Zanaspus I had to remind them via email. I think the registration code isn't sending them the appropriate messages.

@Zanaspus ...I am also signed up on that forum. My understanding (please, someone else correct me if I am mistaken) is that all account activations are handled by a single person so the approval process can be dragged out if he becomes extra busy. I believe he has been heavily involved in the Glasgow Whisky Festival the past several weeks, which may be the reason for the extra delay (I waited two or three days when I joined in the summer). Both Connosr and the WWW forum are excellent sources of information/communication/commraderie.

I am having the same problem.......I'm a newbie to this site, and I am interested in engaging more with my fellow malsters.

Mark Connelly (WhiskyWhiskyWhisky bossman) is a busy chap and can sometimes take a while to get round to approving accounts on the forum. I can assure you it's not defunct and it takes up way too much of my time each morning to catch up on the conversations :)

If you're on Twitter he's Butephoto (as he is on Connosr) if you want to remind him that you're waiting.
