For the Nameless Four Jürgen selected a cask from the Highlands. Again the distillery is kept secret. Only the region, age and ABV can be found on the label.

Granny Smith apples, vanilla, gooseberries and a hint of green banana on the nose. Totally devoid of spices. Spring fresh.

It does show some spices on the palate in the guise of white pepper and a little ginger. Again all about apples and gooseberries, the hint of banana is less present. Some mint gives it a fresh lift. Completely flawless, if maybe a tad unchallenging.

The finish is medium long, softly spiced and on white fruit.

Very likeable. Card player’s whisky. Thanks, Jeroen, DV, for the sample swap.
