Part Nan Angelen is a serie of 12 whiskies bottled by the swedish Vin&Sprit and signed by their chief blender Folke Andersson. In 2008, the full collection of Part Nan Angelen was sold at auction for 14 000 swedish crones which is about 1 500 euro.

Nose: Pear, strong and thin, not much taste.

Taste: Quite thin and strong. Kind of ccold and lean. Not oily but still ok.

Summary: This is vatted malt which means there is malt from many distilleries (and this one from Speyside). The purpose is to give the whisky a special character. After the whiskies has been mixed the it lays for a while to do some “marrying”. Vatted malt is quite uncommon. The Part Nan Angelen is quite thin on the taste and nose, quite strong and harsh. Sorry, not a favourite but a nice experience.
