Color: gold

Nose: A hand carved oak fruit bowl, full of tropical fruits. Think of pineapple and coconut. Water adds bananas, citrus and melons. And off course some oak and vanilla. You'll discover even a bit of white pepper.

Taste: Due to the ABV it is quite hot on the tongue. Yet the fruity flavors give it a fresh body. Green (sour) apples and bananas. And once again some melon and pineapple. At the end a faint hint of smoke.

Finish: Short and crispy, like you've just had a bite of a Granny Smith apple.

Conclusion: A typical summertime dram from our Japanese friends. Fresh and fruity. It does not come with an age statement, though it is quite expensive. Count € 80 - €90.
