@chelseafcchamps I got the Weller 12 for $46, but no Colonel EH Taylor Straight Rye. Saved myself $90, so i guess that’s good. Congratulations on your score!

@OdysseusUnbound, el skunko! The gentrification of whisky pisses me off! It wasn't that long ago I could grab a six pack of Weller twelve off the shelf and leave behind a few for others to enjoy. Not anymore. There's not a shortage, just ask Mark Brown, CEO Sazerac, allocation does not equal a shortage, the shelves are just empty more often...easy to say when you are selling every drop of bourbon that you bottle.
I can't truly say I saw this coming, but I saw it coming.

For those who are interested and perhaps didn't know, there are several Colonel E.H. Taylor offerings (Straight Rye, Small Batch, Single Barrel) and Weller 12 on pre-sale/allocation at the LCBO/Vintage Shop website right now. I'm hoping to land a Colonel EH Taylor Straight Rye and a Weller 12.
