Thanksgiving Dinner Suggestions

2 years ago we started a new tradition where we would buy a new bottle of whisky and enjoy it through out the day as we cooked, watched football, have dinner etc.

Last year we had Clynelish and Talisker. Any suggestions for a whisky for this year? I'm leaning towards Longrow 10 yr old or Bruichladdich Infinity currently.

I truly enjoyed the Laddie Infinity III, but I'm not sure I'd consider it an all-day-long whisky. A few that come to mind are Arran Machrie Moor, Auchentoshan Valinch, and sort of an unusual one in this company, anCnoc 12. Looks a bit like I tripped in the first chapter of the dictionary, and that wasn't by design.

Malts? I'll take Old Pulteney 21 and Glenmorangie Sonnalta PX. Bourbons? Pappy Van Winkle 15 and Eagle Rare 17. Irish? Red Breast 12 and Jameson 12 Ryes? Sazerac 18 and Van Winkle 13. Canadian? Wiser's Legacy and Crown Royal Special Reserve.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll ask my local liquor guy about these also. Hopefully he will let me do a little tasting before I buy.
