I'm looking to pick your brains a bit, my dear fellow members!
My nan recently visited Scotland (not sure where) and during her visit went to a distillery or whisky based establishment (again, not sure where). There she picked up two presents for me, and i'm trying to find out a bit more about them, but am coming up with nothing.
The present was two miniature bottles of whisky, both with the title The Clan Malt, and both with different Clan brands on the front, one for MacMillan and the other for MacDuff. Neither have any age statement, both are bottled at 40% but i can't see the colour as they're in green bottles.
Before i get into tasting these little gems, i want to know if there's anything out there about them. Are they the same whisky but with different names? Are they distilled in different distilleries? Are larger bottles available if wanted? How many Clan Whiskies are there? Are they limited in production?
Any help would be appreciated! And i'd be interested to know if anyone else has some of these bottles around!
