This blended Irish Whiskey was truly a positive surprise for me. Made with 70% single malt and 30% single pot still and triple distilled and aged in matured oak bourbon casks.

For the Irish movie reference I had to take Waking Ned Devine, because this whiskey almost felt like a lottery win. That's how good it was when compared to it's price.

Gladly I didn't die for The Irishman 70 but nearly went to heaven because of it's taste. I think I'm creating more hype than the score may indicate but The Irishman was just so nice compared to my expectations.

Nose: Cinnamon and fruits with hints of vanilla.

Taste: Lightly spicy, bourbony and oaky with a great touch of vanilla.

Finish: Toffee along with oak, good but bit too short.

Balance: Good nose and fairly in balance, good stuff for it's price range! Reminds me of Buffalo Trace very much.
