The morning after...

@Nozinan I did have a wee dram this morning to ease myself into the drama of the election. More ritual or symbolic than anything... but in general I don't tend to drink much when I'm really upset. So I am not particularly in the mood today.

I did my part and voted. Win, lose, or draw; I cannot control what happens now from the Oval Office. I only can control what I do personally. And so I chose not to get caught up in either the post-election gloating or the disappointment/crying. I need to remain focus on my family and personal needs, and remain productive at my job. But looking forward to an enjoyable sip after the end of the current workday.
