pricepoint is significantly higher in the US - somewhat irrelevant to the point but not getting gouged at $99.

Well, it is a $100 blended scotch by master blender Richard “The Nose” Patterson. If you are a fan of the stuff he does with Dalmore and Whyte & Mackay you will probably like it. Given that it is a blended whisky you will probably get soft delicate grassy flavors with fruit (apple), citrus (oranges), and hints of sherry influence (figs). All just guesses. But I wouldn’t expect anything radically different. If I were you and were seriously considering the bottle I would first try the Whyte & Mackay for only $25 from the LCBO just to see what I thought. Sure, it is a different blended scotch . . . but it is from the hand of the same master.

Looking to see if anyone has tried this and if anyone would recommend picking up a bottle. I read the back story and it's very interesting. Would be a nice conversation piece bottle to add to the collection. At the same time, I don't want to fork out the $100 the LCBO is charging if the contents are terrible. The few reviews I have been able to find online suggest that it's rather decent.
Any info anyone can share would be great!
