Very Rare Tullibardine 1966 World Cup Whisky For Sale
Single Highland Malt, very rare. Distillery, Perthshire. In wooden presentation case. Immaculate untouched condition throughout.
A special limited edition of 1966 vintage whisky from Tullibardine, released in 2006 in celebration of the 2006 football World Cup in Germany. The Tullibardine 1966 was bottled to celebrate England winning the World Cup in 1966 the year the whisky was distilled. The whisky is from 40 year old Butt number 2132 and bottled at 49.8%. 70cl.
Only 384 bottles were filled. The whisky is 40 years old.

This Tullibardine 1966 World Cup Edition Whisky is a malt of masterful proportions. It carries a lot of depth and character, big and round with a delightfully long and mellow finish, this has aged extremely well.
NOSE: Ripe melons, creamy toffee, oranges and cherries. Cocoa & coffee. Some floral notes.
TASTE: Mellow spices, green tea. Lots of jammy stewed fruits and some cedar tobacco notes.
FINISH: Long with a gentle fading finish.
ASSESSMENT: Complex, the more you drink it the more notes you can find. A truly sensuous and stunning whisky for the connoisseur.
