Westland Distillery Single Cask Release Cask #3824

This single cask was released in September 2016 with an outturn of 168 bottles. The spirit is Westland's signature 5-malt mash bill (Washington select Pale, Munich, Extra Special, Pale Chocolate and Brown Malts). It spent 55 months maturing in new American Oak cask before finishing for 3 months in a 1st-fill ex-rum cask.

Nose: Orange chocolate, coffee, coconut, raisin and a slight caramel sweetness

Palate: Cherry, fudge, tobacco leaf, cinnamon and Earl Grey tea

Finish: Long with a soft texture
