Am hoping for Ardbeg Uigeadail is going to be under the tree for me this Xmas. If not I guess I am off out on Boxing Day to try and find a bottle. Anyone else looking forward to receiving a special bottle over the Holidays?

You will be doing well if you find Uigeadail in your stocking RoganFox, I got one for my birthday and I love it. I've hinted heavily that I'd be real happy if Santa delivered Ardbeg Corryvreckan or HP 18.

well he already brought Clynelish 14, springbank claret wood and woodford reserve, we are waiting for the other gifts...I suggested my girlfriend to choose between Talisker 57 north, Ardbeg Corryveckran, Caol Ila Natural Cask Strength, Highland Park 19 (signatory) and Lagavulin 12...all of them are cask strength, I couldn't decide and she loves surprises, so I wll probably get one or two from the above bottles...

Santa already delivered a set of four Glencairn glasses and a bottle of Bunnahabhain 25. Guess I've been good this year. Birthday is two days after Christmas, so maybe I can double down on this good fortune.

Santa (TWE) was early this year and brought me a bottle of Mortlach 16 yo Flora&Fauna. An excellent whisky for Christmass. Also, i managed to get hold of an interesting peated Benriach bottled for a local bar, 1994 / 2010 PX-sherry. I'm still hoping for a Malt Whisky Yearbook 2011 as well.

Santa sent his DHL truck so send me a 42yo Ben Nevis 1968 today :-) Less than 20 bottles (!) in that cask, so a very special treat. Now I'm out of money.

Just got the Glenlivet Archive 21 that I had dropped a hint about. This one will get cracked on Xmas eve. It gets good reviews and will be my first over 18 yr old. Still hoping that the Corry shows up under the tree. I would love to drop in on all of you guys on Xmas day. I'll try a dram of the Ben Nevis 42, Whisky Notes; a little sip of your HP 19, Lucadanna; I'll try a wee tot of the Balvenie Port Wood, Beduffboy; perhaps you could save me a sip of your Bunnahabhain 25, Doug; I'll try just a little of your Mortlach, if you insist Turmio; and I'll finish up with just a teensy dram of the St. Magdalene Stu_R. Now who is going to drive me home for my turkey dinner. Cheers everyone, have a Merry, Malty Christmas.

@BlueNote what a wonderful post malty friend! Unfortunately my dram is still on his way to Sicily, the words "severe weather disruption" are part of my nightmares these days! But my beloved girlfriend decided to give me a Wild Turkey 8 years old to apologize for the delay, so two drams is better than one! And you're welcome into my humble cabinet whenever you show up in Sicily!

Got two I wanted to have for a long time: Benriach 10 Curiositas and the Lagavulin 1991 Distillers Edition :-) Oh yeah, also received a nice voucher, so I'll be sniffing in the stores for the next couple of days to find the latest addition to my cabinet.

A couple of interesting bottles - a single cask Signatory Vintage 'North British' single grain, and a Compass Box Spice Tree. Looking very forward to trying both.

Santa continued to deliver throughout the holidays for me. On my birthday a friend brought a bottle of Glenmorangie 10 to share. Lastly, I received a gift card which I transmogrified into one bottle of Aberlour A'bunadh and one bottle of Lagavulin 1994 Distiller's Edition.

Add my aforementioned Bunnahabhain 25 and you might get the idea I was on Santa's 'nice' list. Must have been an administrative error.
