I have tomorrow off, and am definitely going to taste a few whiskeys and take tasting notes. I have a few options. What interests the audience more?

21 Cask Strength Laphroaig bottle 827 of 1427 or Glenfarclas 1974 extra aged 3 years in Sherry Casks

Both are extremely good, and relatively pricey. Probably only do one of the two, with maybe a second or third less expensive. I'd like to do something different for ya'll, like the New Holland Brewing Zeppelin Bend whiskey, or even the Bunnahabhain 17 year old cask strength aged entirely in sherry casks...

Give me some feedback, plz!

Personally I'd love to see tasting notes on the 21 Cask Strength Laphroaig. Mind you they all sound good!

The sherry-only-cask Bunnahabhain 17 y/o sounds intriguing.

Any of them sound good :) Would be interested to know how the 'farclas stands up to time and if the sherry is too much (when was it bottled?)

Anyone working on reviews of grain whiskies? I keep getting nicely surprised by some of these recently...

@scribe I have tasted the glenfarclas 1974 before, three times last year in fact. The sherry isn't over powering as it was only the final 3 years of the 31 (bottled in 05). Also bottled at cask strength, so it has some heat and spice.
