I am thinking about buying older whisky, mainly older Scotch and I am wondering if there is a style of whisky - a region, a distillery, a finish - for which the extra years make more of a difference. I am talking about whisky of 25 y or older. ( To be honest, I am thinking about buying probably only 1 bottle/ year but you have to start somewhere).
