@goldfilm I had no idea this was a problem... I live in Pennsylvania (state control liquor) and there's always been a ready supply of HP12 at $44, often on sale for less. I also shop at Total Wine (totalwine.com) often, which has stores across the East Coast and beyond, and they always have HP12 in stock for like $43 or so. I didn't know that was one that was hard to get.

@valuewhisky Thanks for the info. I thought $45 for a 750ml was a little overpriced, or is it the regular price? How much is it in other countries? I tried three or four duty free shops in the airports for a 1L bottle but they were out of stock...

Here in the greater Milwaukee area Highland Park 12 yr is readily available in many liquor stores...In fact I just picked up a bottle Sunday morning for $40...I also picked up a Bunnahabhain 12 yr for $46.

@goldfilm It used to be $40 everywhere - all the prices have gone up significantly in the past year. sigh

@valuewhisky...(sigh continued)...including here in Ontario where the price (inc. tax) just rose from $60 to $65...still a good value by Ontario standards. I have also noticed that this is a bottle that really "hits its' stride" after being open for about six months.

I live in the U.S. and I'm trying to look for a bottle of Highland Park 12 at different duty free airports or local American stores in the East coast. Many places have them out of stock or over the regular price. For those who own these bottles, where did you find it at a decent price?
