Just joking, I can't really help you. But we had several discussions about the batches already.
Would be nice to collect all discussions in 1 thread. I think there were comparisons in some reviews too.

When everything else is equal, I say get the one with the highest strength. From what I check online, batch 16 was released at 59.6% abv. and batch 17 was released at 60.2% abv. A minor difference to be sure.
I also checked reviews and they both seem to average high 80s scores, topping out at 90/100. Either one seems a safe bet.

Get the 16 and tell me how it is, that is what the malt shop down the road from me is carrying ($62.99 US) and was thinking about that for my next bottle.

I've possibly got a chance to snag a bottle of either Aberlour Abunadh batch 16 and Aberlour Abunadh batch 17. I'm not sure if I'll go for them as there are several other yummy looking bottles on the list, but has anyone had both those batches? Any preferences on what was the better one? Was there a better one?
The bottles are currently running around $80 AUS not counting shipping and handling which is a bloody good deal considering that the average Abunadh over here is I think $100.
