Sounds like a documentary I'd probably enjoy watching.
Maybe you could offer the following incentive:
"If I visit your city I can offer a personal screening in your home over the perfect dram"
That would also allow you to experience the variation of opinion as to what is the perfect dram...

Hello Connosrs!
It's that time of the year when I start planning for my annual trip to Islay for the Feis Ile. I'll be there for the entire length of the festival and visit all the distilleries on their open days.
I thought it would be a good idea to produce and direct a documentary called The Perfect Dram.
The plan is to document the island, the people, the traditions and, of course, all the festival release whiskies. The aim of the documentary would be to speak to the people behind the whiskies (master blenders, distillery managers) and understand their inspiration behind each dram.
Provide a fan's unbiased view of the entire festival and what goes on each day.
I'm trying to raise money to help cover the cost of production. All personal travel and lodging costs will be borne by myself. The raised amount covers the cost of equipment rental, editing suite, etc.
As of now, other than an Executive Producer credit, I have nothing to offer back but I'm speaking to the distilleries to see if I can score some whisky memorabilia as a THANK YOU!
