I'm thinking of going there but tickets are £95. Sure it includes meal and few samples but is worth it. I'd be interested to hear from those who went there last year.

Having been to the show last year we would highly recommend it - the ultra premium drams alone justify the ticket price - and it's a really good clientele. Look out for our Whisky Show article in the upcoming issue of Connosr Distilled for more reasons not to miss this great event.

Of course we'll be there this year - so if you are coming please drop by our stand and say hello - we're running an interactive digital event at the show which will be a lot of fun!

So who is going this weekend? Connosr are on stand 35 which makes it a great rendezvous point for community members.

It'd be great to meet some of you.

Unfortunately I cannot come down to London next weekend, but I wish you all a grand time. Good luck with the WhiskyPod, Connosr!

I went albeit not for too long, but it was well worth it and I'll go again. We were just tasting the Dalmore range on our way out the door when The Nose himself appeared and made us drink them all again. I say made, didn't take much arm twisting to be honest. Priceless.

Annoyingly I was too sober at the beginning to record something in The Whisky Pod and too drunk (and aware of it) but the time I made it back round again. Great show, my only problem being that I didn't have enough time on the Friday afternoon to get round everything (I didn't get any food - either the food matching or my dinner...not enough time).

Just to keep this topic going a bit, i have noticed a few new members over the past couple of days and i reckon that The Whisky Show may have had somthing to do with it, and with that in mind, what was your standout whisky during the show (for those that attended of course)? Did any one dram really blow your mind through the show at all?

First post and joined connosr after visiting the show. This was my second show and it lived up to the first I went to in The Guildhall last year. I have received an e-mail from the organisers asking for a vote for one of the ultra premium drams. Well, we only get one so it's difficult to judge the others but I went for the Laphroaig and wasn't dissapointed. Nice to meet you all!

£95 was an absolute steal if you ask me. The range of whiskies brought to the show were simply stunning. Some of the highlights were the Glenlivet 59, Fiddich 40 (oh and the snow phoenix)....oh and my avitar (Dalmore Selene) too many other amazing whiskies to mention.
