You're welcome.
It occurred to me that people may not be familiar with the concept of a 'meta critic'... if so, sorry about that. Basically, it's a collection of review scores from multiple critics and an 'averaging' of those scores. I put average in quotes because there's more to the statistical methodology than that. If you're curious, the site and the podcast episode goes into lots more detail.
Here's a direct link to the review database: whiskyanalysis.com/index.php/database/

This is based on the methodology developed in David Wishart's book "Whisky Classified," is it not?

@McTeague I'm not sure. At the very least it's probably influenced by it. The creator of the site does talk about that book in the podcast, but in the context of discovering the existance of the book after coming up with the concept of the site. I would surprised if he at that point didn't read the book though.
He goes into quite a bit of detail about his methodology at this link: whiskyanalysis.com/index.php/…

@Nelom
Actually he has a page discussing how he has largely adopted David Wishart's methodology with a couple modifications. Here: whiskyanalysis.com/index.php/…
That is interesting. Wishart himself, I believe, started an online database or produced some kind of database software Though I don't know its status.
Wishart's own methodology was a modification of prior "flavor wheels", but I believe the clusters he used to categorize whisky styles were mostly his own innovation. This new website eliminates one of the clusters but otherwise seems to adopt the same methodology, correct me if I am wrong.

@McTeague Oho! I missed that. Thanks. At some point I should check out "Whisky Classified."

I don't know how familiar people are with this site, but it's basically a meta critic for whisky. I've been using it for a while and whenever I add a new whisky to my tracking spreadsheet I also copy the meta critic score for that whisky. I find it interesting to compare my own score to that of critics.
Even if you have no use for a whisky meta critic, the site is well worth a visit as there's a lot of other whisky related information there, as well as some well-written reviews. And if you like the site, I can also recommend the Whisky Buzz podcast episode where they interview Eric/Selfbuilt, the maker of the site:
