As a relative newcomer to Whisky drinking i have only tried and sampled a few blends as of yet with Famous Grouse Standard blend and Black grouse being the only ones in my cabinet of yet. I have been recommended Whyte and Mackay 13 year old as a good place to move onto next, yet from many reviewers on here i see Whyte and Mackay Whisky doesn't seem to be much cop.
Now i know these are blended Scotches and reviewing marks are someones personal opinion but can anyone reading this that has tried Whyte and Mackay Whisky (particularly the 13 year old blend) please give me advice as to which is the best one to start out with (i hear the special blend isn't very good)? People that have tried the whole W&M range giving feedback would be most welcome!
