Let it Snow doesn't leave any doubt that this is the Christmas edition of Wolfburn for this year. I found the label clever, because the negative space that appears on the back of the bottle forms a beautiful Christmas tree. Hopefully the whisky is as good as the label is nice. The malt is a vatting of first fill bourbon barrels and 2nd fill quarter casks.

Fresh nose on apples and pears, peach, grapefruit and a hint of green banana. Lemon comes on firm, while a soft smokiness while some licorice appears. After a few minutes of breathing in the glass, something of fresh pastry also appears. This is a very pleasant start.

Slightly oily body. Fine. A lot smokier than the nose suggested. Makes the mouth pleasantly warm. The fruity notes are mainly from citrus and white fruits. In terms of taste, it is very close to the Langskip, I must say. But thanks to the modest ABV, it needs absolutely no water. Licorice and pepper appear midpalate. This is very tasty.

Pleasantly long, sweet, softly smoked finish.

This is a Wolfburn that I really like. Affordable, accessible, 100% DNA of the house without frills and very drinkable.
