Nose: Lemon meringue , vanilla cream, some dough oak and malt. light and fresh.

Palate : Malty , bitter and oily. Orange peel and fruits. Vanilla ice cream notes. The mix of the Bourbon and Sherry casks is good and you can enjoy both worlds without one dominating the other. Good choice of cask there!

Finish : Dry bitter oak and fruit. Medium length finish.

a great summer malt all in all, well-integrated and fresh. I know some people love this one, but i think it’s very good. Not Excellent, but solid. I might have been expecting too much from this one after reading all those great reviews.

That sounds like something I would indeed enjoy standing on my balcony at the end of a long summer day!

Nice review. The Peacock has been on my wishlist for a while after reading several glowing reviews in late 2009.
