Someone in here mentioned a couple of good liquor stores in Bardstown. I'm headed there and wanted to check them out but forgot to save the names. Help?

@bobnoxy Hey there bob, I haven't been, but @Benancio told me:

Go to Liquor World in Bardstown, ask for JT

Thank you! I remember seeing that post but couldn't find it using the search. I'll write it down this time.

@bobnoxy , @kfhene is correct. JT might have some cask strength independent bottlings left from the Bourbon Festival.

Thank you as well. Funny coincidence, but I'll be there for the festival. Almost feels like Christmas is coming!

@bobnoxy I'm extremely jealous. If you're lucky enough to have a room at the General Nelson, they have a large Gazibo out back. People hang out there at the end of the day sharing bourbon. Go there anyway. You will see some great bourbons, hard to find bourbons. How many days are you going to be at the festival? Definitely go to the "All Star Sampler".

Geez, I was only planning for a hit and run half day, but now I'm wondering if I'll be able to drive out of there! Thanks for the tip!

Bad news here. J.T. sold the store and took a job with a wine distributor, or so the story went when I was there today. New owner seems more enamored with his stock, price wise. $209 for W.T. Master's Keep. Highest price I've seen on that one. Didn't stick around to see what else marked up.

@bobnoxy that's sad news, things alway change. There are a few more liquor stores in town but I liked that one best, try the others.
