I'm officially retarded. How do I invite someone to be my buddy? When I try, it asks for an e-mail, and it's essentially an invite to the forum. How do I invite someone to be a friend? I need a few folks to answer questions, so I don't have to bug everyone here.

Near the top left hand side of a person's page should be a link which says "Add Mr. X as a friend/buddy" or something like that. Click on it and an invite will be sent to them.

For some reason, the "Invite" link is not really what I would expect, I'd ignore that.
