I've had this! I found it one dimensional, unexceptional but very drinkable

I had the earlier version called The Black Grouse about 3 years ago and found it a fairly drinkable, but unexceptional blend that I would not buy again. JW did a much better peated/smokey blend with their Double Black, albeit at twice the price.

Only Famous Grouse I've ever had is my nearly empty bottle of the 18 year old. Pretty good blend actually.
