First Whisky You Tried?

I think I fall into the typical american cliche', because my first experience with whiskey was a glass of Jack Daniels a friend ordered for me in a local tavern. My first Scotch Whisky was a blend, Chivas Regal, and the first bottle of single malt I bought and tried was Glenlivet 12 Year Old.

Bit of an unusual one, Hellyers Road Peated, a Tasmanian (australian) whisky. My wife pushed me into going on a distillery tour while we were on holiday even tho I wasn't overly interested. First taste of peat and I was hooked. She is gonna regret insisting that I take that tour for a loooong time!
