I had tasted this before, during the online version of Spirits in the Sky in November 2020. It was a happy reunion, trust me.

Delicious creamy and fruity nose on apricots, sweet apples, almond shavings and Café Noir cookies (something I recently rediscovered). Sultanas and fresh fig. Although not mentioned anywhere, I suspect a sherry cask.

Nice and oily and sweet. Very gently seasoned, so that all the attention of your taste buds goes to the sweet, fruity notes. Baked apples, sultanas, overripe banana, pineapple on the barbecue. Some more cashew nuts and candied orange peels. A liquid dessert, if you ask me.

The aftertaste is medium-long, fruity and spicy.

Very accessible and affordable. Still to be found for about 65 EUR. Really worth it. Thank you, Benny.
