Living in Italy, you see this bottle at every corner shop, liquor store or supermarket for miles around. Italians are some of the largest consumers of Glen Grant in the world. This 5 year old is a particular favorite as it serves up well as an aperitif and goes well on the rocks.

Nose: Light and fruity, fresh and delicate. Overall pleasantness and nothing overly significant either.

Body: Fruity and sweet but very subtle.

Finish: Short, dry finish that leaves a refreshed feeling. lovely.

Overall Impression: A lovely, light, refreshing and young single malt that goes excellent with a cube or two and perfect for an afternoon aperitif. One of the best young whiskys out there. I stock this for my friends who enjoy a whisky but something a tad lighter.
