A review for AD Rattray Cask Collection Glen Grant 1992 21 year old, cask 130832.
Nose: ripe pear, honey, watery lemon, polish
Palate: soft, sweet arrival with immediate spice. Sweet ripe pears, mild lemon polish, and an intensifying peppery spice as it develops.
Finish: sweet spice initially, then a drying and lingering tannic finish.
Basic, but good. Nothing bold or overwhelming. It reminds me of a slightly more complex bourbon-aged Glenfiddich.
