I brought a bottle of Allardyce a few months back which according to the graph will be at least 22 years old. Nice to know!

I had a bottle of the 15 revival for my birthday in November from my better half.
I opened it last night. I'll post a review once I've given the bottle time. But my first impression is it is very nice indeed. Not TOO sherried which is always a worry for me when buying a sherry cask whisky is that they overdo the Sherry and it's a bit cloying. I finished a bottle of Glenfarclas 15 recently and my impression is the Glendronach is easily as good as that. Given time and a bit if air it may even surpass it.

@Wierdo - Interesting! I've been eyeing up the 'Fat Sam', I mean, Allardice, but like you am always worried that there will be too much of that syrupy sherry thing going on.

@RianC if of interest, precisely for that reason I actually liked the 18 better than the 21.
