Hey guys, I've seen it mentioned here a couple times, mostly in reviews for the Nadurra, that it will no longer be produced. I haven't seen this stated anywhere else online. Any truth to this? If so, I need to stock up as its one of my favorites. Thanks for any info.

cannot confirm or deny.. but I have just been getting into some cask strength varieties, so I might have to get a bottle to try if might not be around much longer...

@mosis522 I highly recommend it. My favorite cask strength whisky. I you like Glenlivet 12 you will love the Nadurra. To me it is like Glenlivet 12 on steroids. Grab a bottle and enjoy!

April Fools?

Not a big fan of their 12 yr, but the Nadurra is good stuff...A Costco by me has a bunch of it; I'll keep a close eye on it.

@FMichael I wish it was an April Fool's. I saw it mentioned in the comments of a couple of the Nadurra reviews in here. I do know there are still bottles on the shelf. I bought one a few weeks ago. Just trying to figure out if I need to stock up.

Any links to these reviews? As far as I've heard it's not going anywhere...

It's done in batches so I'd assume that the first review is talking about that specific release rather than the whisky in general.

I'd be very surprised if it was going away. I've asked my boss if he can ping his contacts to see if there's any truth in it.

I don't like vague rumours :)

@cowfish Thanks man. Hopefully this is all rumor and Glenlivet will continue producing this great whisky. Can't imagine Glenlivet no longer producing what IMO is their best expression, but then again I never would have thought Johnnie Walker would no longer produce the Green label. I guess you never know.

@teebone673 I've only tried batch 11/09 and I think it's fantastic. Revisited it last night at 5 months opened to see how it's faring, and it's doing superbly, didn't require any water at all as it has mellowed whilst retaining the "fruit bomb" character. I have already decided I'm going to track down another bottle of this batch. Would be a massive shame if there's any truth to these rumours.

@systemdown Glad you are enjoying that batch, man. Fruit bomb is the exactly way I would describe all of the batches I have had in the past. Interestingly, I just opened a new bottle, batch 0512T and it is not the usual fruit bomb, much more woody and just a touch of fruit so far. I would call batch 0512T a wood bomb. A little different, but still great.
