but it does, at least for me. Ludicrously lusciously lustily (get on with it man...) languidely longingly (I give up....) over-sherried whisky : Pedro Ximenez imparts a lustrous (here we go again I fear...) patina to this extra-ordinary liquid. The nose again is sherry dominated, and the taste is surprisingly integrated with more than just sherry notes on display. Long finish to boot. I agree with other reviewers - one for good, trusted friends to share. By the way, it is possible to drink too much of this, as I know only too well....

I am SO happy to hear this! I have a sample of this whisky in my cabinet, waiting on the right time to crack it open for a tasting. After reading this, I can't wait! Thanks for the write-up.

Yep, super great whisky...had to hustle to get a second bottle before it disappeared around here. I still might write my own review of this one since there are few malts I like more. One problem with the Sonnalta PX is that when friends try it they usually want A LOT MORE! It can disappear quickly. It is scary when it is so good and there are only 1 1/2 bottles of it remaining in my cabinet...

Agreed, found the bottle in Monterey and it was finished before our arrival home. I have since restocked with bottles kept well hidden... except to me.
