Glenmorangie Taghta - another "crowd-sourced"

It seems crowd-sourcing is becoming quite the rage of late. Not too long ago we have the the Glenlivet Guardians Chapter and now we there is this: the Glenmorangie Taghta.

I would say the Glenlivet Guardians Chapter has been quite successful. I wonder how this one will go.

Yes I have. It's not bad, just not too sure on the price for it - it's very similar to the Original.

So this is basically a NAS glenmorangie, albeit finished in a unusual cask. End consumers have voted on finishing, name and label design. This warrants a price of 80£ ? Sounds quite unreasonable if you ask me.

I picked one of these up in August. Glenmorangie is a personal favorite distillery for me and their prices remain reasonable. I haven't opened my bottle yet, but I will host a Glenmorangie night later this month and share this one with some friends.
