I was waiting on some counts to be posted before I mentioned what I have.....I am sitting on 36. I host our clubs tastings (that is what I tell my wife when I buy more) plus I give one away every now and then.
I have also been collecting etched vintage cocktail coupes from estate sales and antique shops. I like to mix up a whisky cocktail every now and then.

While I appreciate what the Glencairn has to offer - my rather large face/nose/noggin prefers a more generously sized glass to enjoy my whisky from.
I currently have 8 Canadian Glencairn (which I adore) - however I've got that 'itch' to try something new...Was browsing ebay earlier today, and found what I might think could be some useful whisky glasses...
They're stemless Riedel wine glasses, but I honestly feel a few could make very good whisky glasses as well; in particular the Riedel 'O' Pinot Noir/Burgundy glass looks nice.
Any thoughts?

My count of 14, went up to 16, thanks to the Kilchoman Machir Bay gift set, that came with two etched Glencairns. Like Squidgyash, I'd have more, if I didn't keep giving them away to heathens using tumblers!
Speaking of glassware from gift sets, I also have a pair of Glenlivet glasses shaped very much like the Canadian Glencairns, and a pair of Arran glasses that look like Glencairns without the stems.

I've got 12, though a few of them are left at friends & families house as they never have a descent whisky glass. And of course I bring my own scotch as Chivas is there high end scotch. When a friend comes over and we taste several, it would be nice to have 30 or so as we usually taste 1/3 oz of about 15 different scotches.

I started with just 2, but I added 2 of the little ones (got those at Ardbeg) and 3 more, all branded. One is from Lagavulin and one's a Bruichladdich. I also have a couple of Bulleit bourbon glasses, shaped like their iconic oval bottle.

I prefer glasses with stems, and so I've just bought 6 Glencairn copita glasses. Beautiful glass.

I "only" have 10 Glencairns. It's the long-stem tulip shape ones that seem to multiple in the cabinet. I've lost count of how many I have of those. I really need to donate / give away some of them. While I like the Glencairns, I tend to use the tulip style most often.

3, all given to me at tastings. I like them. But I also have four tulip -shaped crystal snifters from the now-defunct Steuben Glass Company, so they get the most use.
