Nose: Painfully light and faint. I'm really working on this, and I'm struggling to get much of anything at first. Malty, cereal, and grainy. A little lemon zest and honey. Finally faint oil/wax. A touch of smoke and more bitter wax. Downright Clynelish-y at points. It's not the most lively or full, and the wood is loud relative to the rest of it, offering a dull sweet character.

Palate: This is an improvement. Oily, honey, lemon-seltzer water, beeswax. Vanilla, malt. Almost some cigarette ash and burning hay. Peculiar, but decent.

Finish: The seltzer element is frizzy and odd, and lively. The nose was very disappointing, and the finish brief. It's flat, and I like how it reminds me of a typical Clynelish, but it comes up short in the end.
