@Spitfire That was nice of her to find a nice small bottle of the Yamazaki 12yo. It is definitely one of my favorite Japanese whiskies. I haven't had the Nikka whiskies you mentioned, but I will certianly look for them. I brought back a few bottles of Japanese with me now that I have moved back to the US. When it comes to the Yamazaki 12yo, I enjoy each dram, but like many whiskies the best are from the middle of the bottle and down for me. Time and air really do amazing things with this whisky.
