@rwbenjey, Try the Ardbeg Airigh Nam Beist. It's usually under $90 in the States. I have tried and owned both and regret that I could have picked up 4 bottles of the ANB for 1 Fryog 30yr.
They're both remarkable whiskys, but the value for money on the ANB is just too good to pass up.

@whiskyshiba Speaks truth. A friend and I went in on a Laphroaig 30 about 3 years ago. $300 or $150 each. We opened it and had drams and decided that, while terribly sexy and smooth, we'd happily trade one 30yo for 6 bottles of Quarter Cask. You what Laphroaig to kick you ass, that's the whole point. You wouldn't buy a Lamborghini just to drive slowly around town. You wouldn't buy a Fender Telecaster to play quiet mood music. However, if you happened into a huge pile of money, sure buy a 30 and a 40 and tell us what you think.
Going market value on the Laphroaig 30 from what I'm seeing lately is about $400-$450.

I have a bottle of Laphroaig 30 which I want to sell off? What would be a fair market price for this?
