From a Dutch bottling company comes this cask strength single cask offering of the small produced Ledaig. Always interesting to taste this brand in a non-distillery bottling. Tasted in a few minutes so no deep investigation:

Nose: sandy earth, light peat, old wood, antique shop, furniture polish, some nuttyness and a bunch of winter spices.

Palate: an immediate cluster attack of uncompromised flavor. This is brutal and bone dry. The heavy sherry/oak influence is up front, and then the peat... It is of the scorched earth type without any holding back. If you like heavy peat with heavy sherry, this is your thing.

Finish: long, nutty and spicy. Not much of the peat remains, but no one missed it. Highly recommended for sherry/peatbomb lovers
