@dramsam. That's not a Macallan I have ever seen. Mind you, a lot has changed with Macallan in the last 20 years, most of it for the worse, particularly when it comes to price and the lack of age statements in their current weak core range. You might find a decent IB that is close to that 16. I picked up a very good A. D. Rattray 15 year old Macallan about 6 years ago.

does anyone know if there is still any of this around. i tried it in Moffat, "The Back Bull" back in 1995 and it was the single most delicious whisky i have ever tasted. i bought a bottle for my brother's 40th birthday 20 years ago, it cost me £40 back then but i have never been able to trace it since. i would dearly love to add this to my collection but at what price? and, is there still any available?
