Manhattan Whisky Shop

I hate to be a bother, but I posted this discussion 11 days ago. I have some Wine/Spirit shops I want to check out, but I thought this would be a great place to get some advice.

If anybody knows of a great whisky shop in New York, I would love to know about it.

Park Ave is the place to go, from what I've heard from this side of the Atlantic. There are surprisingly few great liquor stores in NYC. Well, surprisingly few that their loyal customers want to reveal, at least...

I'm in mid town New York . I shop at Astor place , warehouse wines and Liquors, Martin brothers upper west side, park avenue Liquors and 67 wines. All have good selection Of everything I guess. I go for the single malts exclusively.

Park Avenue Liquors! I went there on a Tuesday morning at 8am. They opened, I walked in and by 8:20 had sampled 6 or 7 whiskies, placed a mixed case order to he shipped home and was on my way to find breakfast. Great place. Fantastic selection, nice folks. A must see for any serious whisky drinker while in NYC.
