Nose: Very malty, with a fairly good dose of lemon zest, honey, and oil from pressed flowers. Vanilla and the usual sort of crystallized sugar. Frosting and a nervous sour note that keeps it interesting and lively. There's almost some rancid oil, which isn't bad here. Some ginger and a slight bit of smoke.
Palate: Tasty! It's light on the palate, but it's got some good things going for it. Honey, lemon zest, fizziness, and frosting. The wood is there and very good and well-integrated. Vanilla and more floral notes.
Finish: A little dry and a decent mix of the bitter and sweet. Flowers fade out a bit, but this a really great number. Refreshing, full, and well-made. Not sure which offering I tried, but it's very good, and I wish that they were available in the US
