Nosing and Tasting

All, some questions and comments for you all on the topic of nosing and tasting "health," so to speak.

I live in a dry climate. I also have smaller nasal cavities to begin with. So this time of the year I find nosing difficult on occasion. This is frustrating for obvious reasons. So, it has forced me to find ways to remediate this reality. I have found some good tips but I wanted to open this up to you people as well.

Do you have any techniques or tips for getting your nose optimized? Any techniques or tips for getting your palate and taste buds optimized? Any other general (including odd ones) tips that work well for you with whisky?

Thanks!

Pretty much what I would suggest. Consider a cold water vaporizer.
