Oldest running whiskey in America (1810!), neat at Domo, Eurobuilding Hotel, Madrid, in January 2019. A clean pale amber pour with that greenish cast that I love. Quite intense in the nose, and indeed sweeeeet: raisins, crème brûlée, caramel, dry lemon and also leather. Even though I was anticipating a sweet mouth start, it turned out to be pungent and rather dry. Nonetheless, as expected, it was mellow and warm. Medium-lasting finish with hints of smoke and cinnamon.
