Signal Hill Canadian Whisky

This is a blended Canadian whisky. Signal Hill sources primarily corn whisky and some barley whisky from an Ontario distiller, aged between 3 to 5 years. The spirits have been aged in three different barrels, per the distributor's web site:

• brand new white oak casks which provide vanilla caramel - toffe notes

• once used bourbon casks which enhabce a dried fruit characteristic

• Canadian whisky casks that help emphasize the grain characteristics

The whiskies are blended in St. John's NFLD by Rock Spirits.

Caramel colouring is added to maintain colour consistency across batches.

ABV 40%

Color - Amber

Nose - honey, vanilla, dired banana?, cinnamon spice

Palate - creamy mouthfeel, caramel corn, and more cinnamon spice, Warms the throat.

Finish - warm, medium long. Caramel lingers.

Another okay sipping whisky. Will use in cocktails - will be nice in a Manhattan. Would be better if bottled at 43%-45% ABV.
