Has anyone tasted the Springbank 18 edition that was bottled AFTER the label with purple lettering?
Here in Oregon, there is a newer bottling with the name "Springbank" printed in white letters on a black background. I have looked at the bottles in stores here. They are all bear the following data stamped on the back of the front label: 12/ 142 (Day 142 of 2012). The rest are the earlier purple label (which is circa 2011).
All reviews online discuss the 2011 and earlier bottlings, aside from this one on Whiskybase, which is helpful but merely the observations of one individual. Everyone else is rating and chatting about the 2011 and earlier editions.
I'm interested in hearing multiple feedback about the 2012 (and later) editions. Frankly, I've tasted the 2011 and was not very impressed.
