At the great metropolis of >> Moody, Texas, yeah! We're actually known as a "one horse town" or a "one traffic light town". Seriously, a proud member of this thriving community. Much obliged to ya folks.

@Jean-Luc - Have you ever got tired of it or just not paying any attention? I mean living in proximity to a world known historical site, how is it?

Arlington, Texas. Across the street from Cowboy Sradium where I will get to see the Cotton Bowl tomorrow.

@Doug - That's great; however, my daughter & my $$ go to Texas A&M Aggie and go figure I'm a Texas Longhorn. Seriously, I'll gladly do my fatherly duties and support her all the way. But just waite until this is over, nah just joking. I can't believe you're going to be there live and I'll be watching the big screen at home. But you know, I think I'd rather watch it here on my big screen at home. Our dish-network allows us to pause live tv. My way of thinking is I can pause the game an go to the head or the water closet or restroom or the bathroom. Take care of business there and finally retrieve another adult beverage and maybe a bite or two. Finally return to the chair, press pause and continue viewing while cheering on the Aggies (I have to the university has my money, ha ha.).
Anyway your deal sounds very cool. Enjoy my friend.

@Piero - Hello Piero. What is the proximity, of Buckinghamshire, to London? Thanks and have a good day.

@WPT it's one of what we call the "home counties" which are the counties surrounding London. I'm about an hour's drive from the edge of London in a house built in 1492 (which I believe is the year a guy called Christopher Columbus headed over to your side of the pond).
Have a good day yourself!

@Piero - Wow!, that is extraordinary. I can't imagine living in a house like that. Forgive me but I must ask this, how did this house survive WWII? Thanks.

@WPT well obviously German high command didn't consider it a priority target!

Falls Church, Virginia, USA, few miles away from Washington, DC. Before that I had lenghty residence periods in Georgia (US State, not the country), California (both north and south), and Germany and Austria.

@Piero - Thank you for sharing that bit of history. I can't get enough history here or across the pond in the UK. Texas history is not as rich and lengthy as the UK, that goes without saying but I did. I's rich enough for me with 6 flags, of different countries, that flew over Texas. It's not just a theme park. I''m sorry if i'm bothering you or keeping you from your schedule.

@JeffC - It would have been great, if you may have received flying miles. Forgive me I'm not trying to pry but were the moves associated with the military?. The reason I ask is the USAF made sure I had the opportunity to visit various countries. Thanks

@WPT Yeah, I agree with you hat the couch is better than the venue. At home I have Uverse and can pause live, rewind, etc as well. That said, seeing these things live is very cool, much cooler than seeing it on tv. Plus, if I want to, I can watch it on the 80 yard big screen Jerry has in his house.
I'm at the bowl game because my mother has wanted to go to each of them since my dad died a little over a year ago. So I take her. We went to the capital one last year--that was a horrible game experience, and not just because LSU lost. Now we get cotton. Hopefully this will be a better game environment… and outcome.

@Doug - I can relate to your loss. We loss my Dad December-15-2005 and my brother May-6-2006. I'm married; however, it is just Mom & I and Mom & Dad's great- & great-great-children. His passing still hits Mom every now an then. Oh man, let me stop myself about that the sad stuff.
Doug, you & Mother have tons of fun there. And goodluck to your Tigers. May the best team, da Aggros(aka Aggies, what am I doing you knew dat, cha-ching) WIN!

@Piero I grew up in Buckinghamshire in a house built circa 1550. Not quite 1492 I grant you! What part of Bucks is that? (Currently live in London btw)

Brighton, UK, home of various "amusing" advertising campaigns playing with "Right On". We have a beach without sand and a burnt down pier.

@Thrip - @Piero - Ok, what part of Bucks is that? Let me guess, it's many pounds sterling; which, converts to big bucs or many dollars-us. I'm wrong again, it;s now euros not pounds sterling i think and probably wrong again again. I'm sorry for burdening you that sorry attempt to make a funny. I'll just leave that to the pros.
Circa 1550, unreal. Please don't take this the wrong. You know the UK has pubs, water closets and phone booths older than the this country (USA) has even thought of getting started. The only thing I know of here that is older that is items being recovered at the near by mammoth archiology site. It's still unreal to me, about the age of the structures in your country.
