I just realized I need to drink a few si[s of water between a few sips of Scotch to cleanse my palate a bit. (And to keep hydrated!) And, I am going to experiment with adding a few drops with a pipette that I got with a set of Glencairn glasses.
I ordered a case of Glenlivit Speyside water from Aqua Maestro, thinking I should have water from Scotland to be "authentic." I am also looking to order a case of Highland Spring water later when it comes back in stock.
Any of you this particular about the water, or just do the plain old distilled stuff. I figure if I went through all this preparation, I should have a "special" glass of water sitting next to my single malt!
