Have any of you either bought at a whiskey auction or sold at a whiskey auction? I'd be most interested in hearing about the good, bad and the ugly experiences you may have had. I live in Canada so these auctions never occur (apparently its called bootlegging here and the government tends to take a dim view of that). What I'd like to know is can you place a reserve bid and if it does not hit that bid can you pull the bottle back?
